From Digging to Cleaning: the Skid Steer Loader
Saturday, January 16th, 2010Many construction projects don’t demand a huge earthmover to help with the manual work, and yet the task can’t be done soley by manual labour either without incurring lengthy delays to the task and even risking accidents.
This quandary produced the mini skid steer loader which was developed to make it viable for modest construction tasks to be performed promptly and in a safe manner.
Mini skid steer loaders are small, simple to operate, and at the same time maximizing productivity significantly. A good mini skid steer loader will also be versatile, with a lot of fastenings one can easily add to it to allow you to execute all sorts of tasks : post hole boring, digging, shifting items, planting trees, cultivating land, internal/external demolition work, sweeping and clearing, kerb and slab lifting plus much more. In other words, a skid steer can do the task of many other machines saving much cost to the project and also future projects.
To add to that, the skid steer loader isn’t confined to soley industrial building jobs. They’re compact enough to be driven into back gardens where there’s access with the smallest skid steer being just 820mm in width – which means it’s also great for landscape gardening and even smaller gardening projects, and even for for house builds (e.g. shifting heavy items) because of its diminutive size. Lastly, it’s painless to set up in the rear of a pickup truck if a project is far away from where the skid steer loader is kept.
